15 SBOE Districts

Texas is divided into 15 geographic areas called Districts. Each district elects one person to serve a four year term. The elections are partisan requiring Republican and Democratic candidates to run in their own primary held on the first Tuesday in March. The winners of the primaries run in the general election held on the first Tuesday in November.

Rebecca lives in and will be running for the District 10 seat.

Speaking Out & Showing Up

"For District 10, we endorse Republican Rebecca Osborne, a teacher in the Round Rock school district. It would be a refreshing change to have someone on the board who could give a contemporary classroom perspective. In addition to college preparation, she wants schools to offer career and vocational instruction for students who decide to go directly to jobs after high school."
